Event Description

IndependenceDay was celebrated with great patriotism and enthusiasm on 15^thAugust,2025 by the Children and Staff of South Calcutta Public School &Ananda Bhawan ( both Units of The Biswas Educational Foundation). The NationalFlag hoisting was followed by march past by the Children & School Band andalso presentation of patriotic songs, skits and dance program themed on ourFreedom Struggle and Events that led to winning our Independence from theBritish Colonial Rule. The program showcased the Struggles & Sacrificesmade by our revered Freedom Fighters for our Mother land. It was a treat towatch the Children dressed up for the occasion .

TheIndependence Day celebration help the Children revisit the History of ourIndependence Struggle & the pay respect to the Lives lost for our Country. TheEvent help them realize the Value of our Freedom and  how important it is for each one of them togrow up to be worthy Citizens of our Country and Respect our Motherland. Gratitudeto all the Teachers, Staff and everyone involved in training the Children andmaking the program a grand success.
